About the RoleAs the Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to optimise the store’s financial performance, finding ways to increase sales and doing in-store promotions. This is a hands-on role; you will be expected to be an active presence on the shop floor, demonstrating enthusiasm, a strong work ethic and a dedication to customer service. You’ll also look after orders and deliveries, help recruit new team members and, ultimately, do whatever is required to keep the store running smoothly.
What are we looking for?Ideally, you will come from a customer service background – preferably having worked in retail or hospitality – with previous experience working as a supervisor, team leader or manager. You will be commercially astute, and passionate about helping customers.
We’re looking for a leader; someone with excellent communication skills, a clear and open leadership style, who’s genuinely excited about the prospect of developing a team. You’ll need to be commercially savvy, and able to make good business decisions.
